BTW, I added zombies. They are not animated yet and they cannot attack you yet but when you hit them guts come out. When they die they explode into chunks of flesh.

I might be able to get a screenie sometime soon....
The thing that stinks is that the more zombies there are, the more flickery the grayscale is and the slower the game goes. :(
Even just 5 zombies makes it super flickery and weird-looking. :(

I edited it to make it faster but it means that the zombies always have to be on a flat surface. No going down a hill or anything like that.

EDIT: I'm gonna see what it's like with 10 zombies at once. HA HA HA!!!

slow..probably slow... Try moving some stuff out of your main loop stuff, get rid of the unneeded

Well, it didn't go too slow. It went slow and laggy but not as much as I thought, though you could hardly even tell it was supposed to be grayscale. :(

BTW, could you make me another grass sprite? 16x16 4-lvl gray, of course.
Try to make it use a lot of solid colors together instead of a jumble of different colored pixels like with the grass you did before.

EDIT: I'm gonna totally remove the jumping feature in the game.

I wouldn't remove the jumping...I'd just decease the amount of grayscale :P

Could you make the grass part touch the top of the 16x16 tile and could you make it have dirt below the grass? So it is platform view. Also could you fill the white space with black because the background is gonna be black because it is supposed to be at night.

also, if your liking my sprites you should check out my 'my best pxl work' thread :) I just post the house I gave you which looks so good it made that thread, and a spider I think is sick and I'd love to hear feedback :)

Spider? Maybe later, but now I am focusing on bugs and main gameplay things.
You could make me the sprite right now, if you want. It would be maybe 24x16 or something like that, 4-lvl gray, of course. :)
