if you have xp, you might get lost!
i have windows 7, which has very complicated and fancy desktop theme system ('Aero' i think it's called). anyway, only the basic gui gets implemented on the extra desktops, so the original one always looks different, so i never get lost.

Awesome! It reminds me of Compiz Fusion for Linux.

That is really neat!  I didnt realize what was happening for a second :P It also appears that the individual desktops remain running when you switch them around?  There isnt any type of halting, which is very cool :)

I thought it was cool, but that it could be better.  So I did some looking around and found Yod'm 3D
Look it up, maybe you'll like it.

It's kinda sad though that there's only 4. deskhedron can have up to 9. aside from that, yod'm IS better! no halting on this one either, and there's quick access to desktop 1 in case you get lost. and it's completely windows 7 compatible!

Yeah, and with Yod'm, you can drag windows between sides of the cube, which I like a lot.

Well, I checked out this program and Yod'm, but both had weird things I had issues with... then I went on my own search and found something else. =P

It's not the same thing exactly... but still epic.

Just messing with a 3D desktop. It's pretty fun to mess with. The lag is half video recording and half the fact I'm on a decent laptop. =P
(Also, I'm running the program on very high graphics.)

Enjoy?

I'm having fun with this. =D

Also, it has some more cool features I forgot to record... so I may re-record this video to show them off. ^^;

(Works on XP, Vista, and Win7 [that vid was Win7])

Hope you guys have as much fun as I am. =)

It will take a good deal of time to get used to though... I'm still struggling with it a bit.

My link is a bit glitchy on Windows 7, there are some weird problems with the taskbar for me.

Woah, after playing with SphereXP enough, even windows that are maximized looked curved in to me.
It's weird... it's like it's all on the 3D environment... but it's not. =o

Funny what your mind gets used to. Makes me really think of what the Nintendo 3DS will do to me. @.@
