actually I am thinking of changing the plant enemy to something else. I was thinking more of that super insanely fast exploding enemy in the second video. Ok, you would lose 15 HP, but you would lose 15 HP only once, as the enemy self-destructs when hitting you and the other enemies are easy to avoid. Else I guess I could just have the purple enemies but then it would be a bit too easy XD. I wanted to have some "run for your life" sequence at the beginning. XD

Ok new video, this time of the first part of the Quebec city. First video is uncompressed and is in AVI format. Second one is compressed in WMV format, for those who have slow internets. Warning: despite the slow framerate it is quite seizure inducing (it is MUCH faster in game, on my 2005 PC it runs at 60 FPS all the time, it's Fraps recording that slowed it down that much), thanks to the technology of the 92th century:

And the second video is practically the same thing but I decided to mess around with RPG Maker some more, it is not gonna be in the game. I had to record with my digital camera this time, as fraps wouldn't record:

In OVER 9000 years the population of just that city went from about 700000 to 900000000. The buildings can be up to 900 levels high (not that you can enter in most of them tho, since the city is gonna be crowded as hell (not only due to the population on the earth but also because it's the city's 9500th anniversary) and you're considered as an enemy there (due to your origins)) and they even had to dig in the earth to build their stuff so buildings won't end up too high (would cause problems with the lack of oxygen high in the sky and the temperature)

I wish I had a shorter version of the video (just the chorus) so I could have triggered a Game Over afterward

Also the parts that flashed from white to black, like some buildings roofs and the huge "Quebec" sign on the wall at the bottom, were set to flash from white to black every frame. Right now it's set to switch every 6 frames, else it was really insane and it didn't looked too good anyway

The alternating color scheme looks great, I think it really suits the game. Also, the second vid. was great. You should make Rick Astley the final Boss in the game. LOL. That would be epic! The downloads seem a bit buggy in opera for some reason(Had to use IE). Also, the WMV's work fine, but all I got was audio for the avi.

i didn't got problems In opera actually it just opened a new tab and waited for about 10 secs for the first vid and a few mins for the others then it opened WMP. For the AVI I think you need to download fraps to be able to watch it, since it was recorded with it. But no rick astley will not be the final boss, altough there might be a dungeon with a remix of the song :P

Aww, no Rick Astley as the final boss?! This makes me sad. :'( How about Wilford Brimley then(Aka Final boss of the inernet)?(Rick Astley can be the second to last boss)  ;D

IMO, you should keep it serious with bosses pertaining to the storyline. And maybe a side quest/boss or two with rickroll or something?
