Humble Bundle
« on: August 15, 2013, 01:26:57 pm »
I can't afford this at the moment due to some financial issues. But, it's a great deal and I thought someone might find it interesting.

You get about 8 really good games and you can choose how much to pay. Besides, the money goes to charities so at least you're helping others out. It'll last for two more weeks: https://www.humblebundle.com/

Yeah I was shocked when I saw all those EA games. O.O At first I thought they were about to go out of business like THQ (who offered their last games to Humble Bundle during their final days).

I bought this package, but I didn't install any of the games yet because my hard drive is full. >.<

I saw this yesterday and was shocked with the EA games.

Also check out their weekly sale before it ends. Defcon, Darwinia/Multiwinia, and Uplink also come with their source code ;)

Spoiler For IMPORTANT NEWS!:
Late last night, Quebec was invaded by a group calling themselves, "Omnimaga". Not much is known about these mysterious people except that they all carried calculators of some kind and they all seemed to converge on one house in particular. Experts estimate that the combined power of their fabled calculators is greater than all the worlds super computers put together. The group seems to be holding out in the home of a certain DJ_O, who the Omnimagians claim to be their founder. Such power has put the world at a standstill with everyone waiting to see what the Omnimagians will do...

Wait... This just in, the Omnimagians have sent the UN a list of demands that must be met or else the world will be "submitted to the wrath of Netham45's Lobster Army". Such demands include >9001 crates of peanuts, sacrificial blue lobsters, and a wide assortment of cherry flavored items. With such computing power stored in the hands of such people, we can only hope these demands are met.

In the wake of these events, we can only ask, Why? Why do these people make these demands, what caused them to gather, and what are their future plans...

I have 50 GB left, but since I create a lot of videos, there are times when this fills up in a minute.

I think I'll get this and the weekly. There are lots of good games for the main and the weekly has amnesia and mcpixel.
If it doesn't tell me I can't I'll probably give away the BF3 from the humble bundle since I already have it.
I currently don't do much, but I am a developer for a game you should totally try out called AssaultCube Reloaded download here https://assaultcuber.codeplex.com/

Note: despite how cheap this is and some profits going to charities, some people still go torrent cracked copies of humble bundle games. X.x

You can't. It's stupid but regarding the User rights, you can't give away part of your bundle. (officially...)

You have to pay above the average (about less than $5) to get all the games. And people just give out the unused codes they don't want. This time it's codes with no downloads, so it's now kinda harder to torrent those games.

A good amount of them were big enough names anyways to already have torrents for them. I'm sure BF3 at least has had torrents for months.

If I can't give away the games I'm not sure if I'll make sure I'm above average. I'll only give $5. I would give more, but I don't really like their steam/origin only bundles where I can't use it on linux(though I love steam)
