By the way, I feel bad for people who bought Marvel vs Capcom 2 for PS2 a few years ago in hopes that its value would continue skyrocketing :P

It used to go for $200 most of the times years ago, but then it suddenly dropped around $30-40.

Note that this happened to several PS1/PS2/PSP games a while back, but not as drastically. It's because those games are now available for download on PSN.

Wow. I can buy any ps2 game for about €1-€2 here. At least when I buy them on fleamarkets.

I can burn games to recordable DVDs. That's the only way I know of to play KH2 Final Mix in english.

You can also use a swap disk. I got one of those. I have never tried it though.

The best way is with the memory card exploit, Free McBoot. Technically a software modification, but it requires homebrew of some other kind first, like a swap disc.

Then, install ESR, and burn games after patching them. It makes the games pretend to be DVD Videos, so the system doesn't reject them. Then, the ESR loader loads them as a game. With Free McBoot installed, it will automatically launch burned DVDs the same way it normally launches games.

I didn't even know they existed for PS1/PS2 consoles. The only ones that I know off are the Wii one that lets you play PAL games and the Action Replay for game cube.

I have seen one for the wii, but I did not pick it up. I want to have original games in my collection. Those pressed disks are better quality than burned ones anyway.

Meh. Wii modding is quite easy. I'm using it to back up my discs nad get a copy for my sister when I take the game away (most of the times for playing with my brother. I've a splitted/separated/divorced without marriage nor charges family.)

Yeah, Wiis are damn easy to hack.

Also, my bro got me Gran Turismo 2 at the flea market yesterday. I should try those PS1 hacks now that I have a valid game disk.

Since it's Black Friday, there was a 2 for the price of 1 deal on used games. There were some restrictions on retro stuff, but not those games it seems. Basically, if the seller originally bought the games for higher than the 2 for 1 rebate (such as on Ebay), then the rebate didn't apply. I couldn't find anything else decent and cheap to go with Wizards and Warriors 3, though, so I only got Phantasy Star Universe for free.

I saw Duck Tales PS3 the other day, but I got told that it's a download code, so I'll spare my bandwidth and wait for a CD version.

Does anyone know if Ys IV: Memories of Celceta's North American release is a limited run or something? Because yesterday, I noticed it just came out recently and EB Games (Gamestop) told me that they only got about three copies. I picked the last one (it was $39.99 since it's for PS Vita). In NA it's published by XSeed, the same company that published Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii, which was a Gamestop exclusive that had a limited run as well. Apparently, there are two editions, so I can only assume that the silver edition is incredibly hard to find. >.<

That said, I was happy to see it out, since I have been waiting for quite a while.
