Need to download OS 3.1 for GSC Emulator

I am trying to get Ndless and an emualtor on my friends calculator. I need to downgrade to 3.1, but am stuck at a certain part, the maintenance menu. Im not sure if I should delete the OS. Please tell me how I should do this (I have the OS file). Thanks for any help?

Yes, you should try to delete the OS from the maintenance menu, and then, install 3.1.
