Well I'm still alive even though I haven't posted much.  I haven't found out if todays finals killed my grades yet though. I wonder when the next "The world is going to end" scare is going to come.

I just survived an huge snowstorm (although it's still going on, along with flickering power). I was at work, though, and most of the afternoon the store where I work almost had no light. :P

I wonder when the next "The world is going to end" scare is going to come.
Most likely around April 13th 2029 and April 13th 2036 (when Apophis asteroid apparently has very very slim chances to collide with Earth)

There will also most likely gonna be some Y2K type crisis on Tuesday, January 19 2038 at 3:14:07 AM UTC, due to the way Unix dates are.

This says the world will end sometime, possibly in 6 years.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/mayan-apocalypse-did-not-happen-but-more-1500397

Then there’s a theory I came up with several years ago.
I was trying to memorize 1000 digits of pi, and had recently looked watched the Knowing, so I looked through it to see if there was anything special.
Lo and behold 2019 appears 3 times. I believe that is more times than any other 4 digit sequence, but definitely more times than any year in our lifetimes.
So something is going to happen in 2019.
