I am reluctant to post this here, but it seems to be easier than to msg it to those I care about. Well I have been rude as some would call it, and it seems that the attack I made with the statement about "real men use their own routines" being sarcasm (as necro was the only one who saw it truly as that).

@Elfprince: I don't hate you, I admire you and your work. I how ever dis like how you and kerm (and some other of his friends/followers) feel that you are a elite group (just my opinion). What exactly is enhanced about adding DCS to a basic game? A icon? Exactly what is so enhanced about that? Good luck and have fun, I know you will do something amazing and prove many like me wrong.

@Kerm: I think you are trying to do something amazing, and I think you are on the right track. I have a few tiffs about you, but that is my own problem and not yours. Anyways, good luck and I know DCS will be a hit.

@Kevin: I will miss you mostly, but sorry I have come to my late state of rudeness. I see removing myself from Omnimaga would best suite that, making people upset.

But hold on - you dislike Elfprince because he likes DoorsCS? Maybe you need to elaborate more because that doesn't seem like a good reason to dislike somebody.

And you're leaving because of the way people responded to your comment? Remember that time at MaxCoderz when somebody critizied your Fall Down Ripoff game and you didn't like it? The same thing is going on, except this time you are the one critisizing. I don't think anybody hates you - it's just that some people didn't like your comment. This is no reason to leave (in my opinion, but people are different). If you expect everybody else to withstand your comments, you should be able to withstand their reactions (don't take this to harsly, please).

I hope you don't dislike me or hate me after reading this, but I just don't think this is a good reason. You're a good guy and a good programmer, and I don't want to make you mad or cause you any grief.

If you really want to leave, then that's OK.

But understand that I don't think that anybody wants you to leave and we'll miss you.

In the meantime I would like to let you know I do not want you to leave (or have to leave) Omnimaga. I was kinda confused by your leaving post, because it sounded to me like some kind of apology, and to me, an apology means you are sorry about making the ppl upset. I don't know if you meant to be rude intentionally, but if you leave, no one will ever get the chance to know, and lot of people will miss you here. I think you should stay with us, I will be very sad if you leave, and I dunno if I'll stay. Before reading this topic I was starting working on a 3D racing game using xLIB, I had the entire engine complete, despite of a few bugs, and when I seen this thread, I deleted the entire game from my calc as well as xlib, omnicalc and mirageOs, so much i was sad to see you go. I wish you would come back, and i don't think the people who are upset want you to leave, in fact some may be worried atm that you are feelin upset, like me.

Anyway please do this for me, reconsider leaving, and come on AIM asap, preferably this evening, or tomorrow/tue/wed morning (since it will be the only time i am on). you have always been one of the nicest person on this forum and one of those who helped others the most, and we understand that you may go through some events that make you upset and irritated. Me, necro and halifax agreed that everything past your comment we thought that was rude (but wasnt meant to be) in Massacre thread will be deleted, and I am gonna do so with my comment in the strategic conquest thread, as it is untrue. Also if you feel upset about something or have some issue you would like to talk about about anything feel free to do so, I will be very happy to listen

Are you talking about the B31337 here? Perhaps you misunderstand the purpose, it is to encourage and promote quality programming, and are always trying to get people we feel to be good TI-Basic coders to join.

As for the DCS thing, first you are aware that StratCon is in fact in Asm correct?

second off, DCS not only allows you to add icons to Basic programs, it also allows you to specify which programs are subroutines and hide them from the display, and automatically archive/unarchive a list of requested subroutines at the beginning of a program.

Im glad you don't hate me as Ive always respected you as an excellent coder, and except for the last few days ive thought of you as being a very kind, thoughtful person (a position which with this post you have regained).

Please reconsider kalan. Everyone makes mistakes in life, and this shouldn't be a reason for leaving like this. I want you to promise me that you'll be back someday, even if in one week, one month.

Well, I'm disappointed I didn't see this sooner, but in case he checks here again:

Kalan, you're a very good programmer and from what i've seen and heard, you're also very kind. Its a shame to see you go, but if you feel its best, then go for it. I hope to see you around on HRP and other places (unless you're withdrawing from the community altogether). Well, see ya later mate.
