I've been busy with work as the holiday season approaches (ugh), exercising probably too much :P, and working on some art work (mostly retouching/modding other's works). Also, ivenom, what is your avatar from? It looks pretty cool. ^^

I've been working on a science experiment.  I got eaten alive by my test subjects (I could swear they're still hiding somewhere in my house), and I ended up having to create a multivariabled linear regression model with one hand while applying itch cream with the other.  That's all I've been up to.
the inner machinations of my mind are an enigma...

Bump:

So what is everyone up to this Summer? Do you have any calc or non-calc projects planned? Will you go to a trip somewhere? Will you be around, more active or less active?

In my case I am not as active lately due to the Summer Festival and work schedule. The concerts so far were fun, though, except the first which wasn't really my genre, but the 3 others I went to so far were pretty epic and I plan to go to the one tomorrow and maybe Saturday too. However, travelling back home after the shows can be an hassle due to the massive waiting line that can form at the ferry or in Juju's case, the bus stop, and the walk back home afterward. However it's fun. :D

I also had one week of vacation a few weeks before and will have two more in a week, so hopefully I'll be a little more active then. Calc projects and music will depend of health (neck/back pain can make it hard to concentrate >.<)

I might also try to go to the water park next week or during my vacations.

There is another festival in August, but thankfully there is a special public transit schedule for the event so I can get back home earlier.

Taking a concentrated-schedule stats class over the summer, such endless fun :D

In all seriousness the stress of that +family stuff is kind of enough to shut out hobbies etc.. Tho there isn't class on fridays so I'm actually able to catch up w/ other aspects of life around then.

I think there's ~3-4 weeks left, after that I should be back in business ;)

For the past few weeks, I have been at work, but since the hours aren't too extreme, I have a lot of time to do hobbies, collect calcs, etc. This week, I am off because neither of my bosses will be at workI am mostly working on my computer in my house, but I doubt that I will be able to keep that up for long, because I have a family vacation starting next week, and I'm going hiking in New Mexico the following two weeks. After that, I should be back to working and having time to do stuff.

Spoiler For some of the calcs I own:

(actually I have quite a few more than this, but I don't feel like making bars for them all.)

As DJ said, I'm going to the summer festival, tons of nice music shows, Guns N' Roses tomorrow, will probably be epic if Axl Rose won't be too drunk lol. And right now I'm fixing my old computer, trying to figure out how to upgrade the CPU and stuff.

I have plenty of free time, now that it's summer. Last month, I went to camp for four days, as well as to New York for a week. But now, basically all I have for the summer is the preparation for a class next year, Minecraft, reading for school (finished The Grapes of Wrath today), and of course, calculators. I'm slowly progressing on my two-week-old calc project.
Due to dissatisfaction, I will be inactive on Omnimaga until further notice. (?? THP hasn't been much success and there's also the CE. I might possibly be here for a while.)
If you want to implore me to come back, or otherwise contact me, I can be found on GitHub (bluebear94), Twitter (@melranosF_), Reddit (/u/Fluffy8x), or e-mail (if you know my address). As a last resort, send me a PM on Cemetech (bluebear94) or join Touhou Prono (don't be fooled by the name). I've also enabled notifications for PMs on Omnimaga, but I don't advise using that since I might be banned.

Recently, I've been planning out an RTS game with some of the members of my game dev club. I'm excited for this to come to fruition, since we have a really unique idea for it.

I've also started looking at learning Haskell and Clojure to get exposed to other programming paradigms.

Spoiler For IMPORTANT NEWS!:
Late last night, Quebec was invaded by a group calling themselves, "Omnimaga". Not much is known about these mysterious people except that they all carried calculators of some kind and they all seemed to converge on one house in particular. Experts estimate that the combined power of their fabled calculators is greater than all the worlds super computers put together. The group seems to be holding out in the home of a certain DJ_O, who the Omnimagians claim to be their founder. Such power has put the world at a standstill with everyone waiting to see what the Omnimagians will do...

Wait... This just in, the Omnimagians have sent the UN a list of demands that must be met or else the world will be "submitted to the wrath of Netham45's Lobster Army". Such demands include >9001 crates of peanuts, sacrificial blue lobsters, and a wide assortment of cherry flavored items. With such computing power stored in the hands of such people, we can only hope these demands are met.

In the wake of these events, we can only ask, Why? Why do these people make these demands, what caused them to gather, and what are their future plans...

I haven't worked on libti*/gfm/tilp for several weeks.
I've worked a bit on nLaunchy, but I need to rework, as Excale rewrote the Makefile entirely in the meantime.

And lately, I've been working on further improving PatrickD's TI-68k emulator written in JS:
* making it possible to boot up AMS 2.xx;
* nearly doubling the emulation speed by rewriting the emulation of movem (load multiple / store multiple) instructions, but the emulator remains slower than real hardware on recent computers running Firefox Nightly (Chrome is faster);
* making it possible to transfer files to AMS (tested on 2.09).
In addition to this, Adriweb contributed some support for screenshots :)
Multiple important items (Flash memory support, transferring files from the calculator, somehow reducing the frequent emulator hangs triggered by user clicks or keypresses, and more) remain to be done for the emulator to become a reasonably generic, mildly accurate TI-68k emulator - and those items will slow down emulation, which in turn will require more optimization...
In this day and age, high accuracy emulation of the HW2+ protections costs lots of CPU time, it is of very little use to non-developer users, there are hardly any developers anymore, and tiosmod+amspatch strips them out anyway - it follows that as far as I'm concerned, implementing those silly "protections" is a waste of time.

I'm not able to complete the todo list for the emulator by myself - contributions needed, especially on the Web development front ;)

You should maybe create a topic about the updates if there are some major ones Lionel. Some people might be interested :)

Among other improvements over the past few days, Flash memory emulation was implemented this morning in the JS TI-68k emulator... but it's not like anybody will care, now that there's the Prime :P
