lol, looking thru my pics, I found this. It's a machine that sorts marbles based on transperancy or not. It worked well.

That's a serial cable plugged into the front of it isn't it? Is that input or output or both?

both, that box was a PC <-> propritary interface adaptor. the program ran on the PC, since my engineering lab didn't have money for the boxes with onboard storage.
