But that way you have a moar unique laptop/monitor

The only thing I expect from a computer is that it works as it should, and it has to look good while doing so, which means no decals are needed for that

I might end up doing this with my laptop, especially seeing as it has this otherwise-pointless lid-switching thing so if I screw it up it's not as hard to get rid of

Would prolly be just a linux penguin or similar tho.
