So I forgot to upload this for a week, but when I was coming home from Disney World on New Year's Day I saw a hotel with 2013 spelled out in the lighted windows. (I had to find my iPod and take the picture, so it was further away when I took it, that's why it is blurry)



I guess they specially did not rent out those rooms.
Also, a little less hipster, less noticeable thing; when I was going to Disney World I saw a different hotel with a Christmas tree(a pyramid and a stick) made out of lighted rooms

They did that in Québec City, an hotel put red and green lights in some windows so it forms a Christmas tree.

Wait where Juju? I know at Quebec City bridge entrance, there was a Christmas light festival thing at the Aquarium, but I didn't see anything like you mention.

I know for the city's 400th anniversary, we could see a huge 400 in Complèxe G windows from Capitales baseball games, though.

Oh that thing. But again it's not easy to spot everything there because at night (especially with the Jule-Dallaire building) the entire neightboorhood there turns into a light show during christmas.
