We omnimaga-ians are big on memes.
One such meme is peanuts - it is customary to give various photoshopped versions of peanuts to newcomers (not sure why).
The only other confusing meme I can think of is the 'Whacky Fun Numbar Generator" - it was a program intentionally written to be crappy, therefore everybody treats it as if it were gold.  (Just play along)

The peanut thing is just something we do. Some people have special peanuts for their games/programs or of themselves to promote it. Tao is my game. Click on the peanuts or here to learn about tao: unleashed.

The 5 big memes we have are:
1) peanuts
2) rick'rolling
3) wfrng (see above)
4) netham45 being a blue lobster and having a pink username.
5) the game.

And it's not really an Omnimaga specific meme. It got started by ticalc.org and got spread in the community until 2008 then got revived recently. The peanuts things are just some sort of inside joke. In early 2006, someone said to a new member "Welcome to Omnimaga! Don't forget to grab peanuts at the entrance!" and then everyone started doing it. (It even spread to United-TI for a while)
