Welcome and enjoy your stay.

It is never too late to review the basis and that also happens to me. People who learn by themselves usually go through that problem if they don't use a splendid book or other source in the beginning.
I had many mistakes of some theory of programming like what really is object oriented programming, when some people probably learnt from the start in a boring and easy way.

I don't normally like to introduce. Skipping it is much more comfortable for me without any good reason. But it has not always been like this.
And later getting into the community, I feel like don't need to introduce. But if I ever introduce I might tell my name and other information depending on the forum.

Let's see, it only took me 500 posts before I introduced myself. :P

And I haven't introduced myself yet! :P
I don't think I ever will, either.

For me it took me OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!

Including the old board and every single board I ever posted on, it took me almost 6 years to introduce myself somewhere I think, since I joined my first TI forum in Sept 2003, then half another year to do it properly on Omnimaga

I generally just put my programming info when I introduce myself, but since my programming history is far too long, I usually don't bother because I don't know how to sum it up x.x

@holmes221b
Side Question: Not to be rude or anything but if you're a girl why do you go by two different guy names? (Sherlock Holmes and Leonard H. "Bones" McCoy)
I'm not to sure if it was really necessary. We should not comment this way on people names, especially if it's their real names (which are not chosen by themselves). I for one hated when people made fun of my last name at school. Plus some people may be using nicknames based on something they like, not necessarly to represent themselves (example, a girl may use the nickname Superman or Bioman). I feel even if it's not meant to be rude, it could still be seen as offensive by the person. So I rated down your post
