Yeah. Back then someone started a rant because he was offended by the presence of a christmas forum skin, due to him being atheist. On the new board someone else complained because someone used the word god in "OMG" because he was christian and I also remember someone wanted us to disallow any slightly nswf adult jokes. Finally things went fine but just in case lol.

Well, a lot of religions have prophets, the only ones who would get offensed are atheists, even that you have to be pretty extremist to bash any mention of the word prophet.

Christmas comes from Christ's mass, so it's kind of hard to make a christmas theme that doesn't relate to a religion.

The prophet thing is ok though, for any atheist I think, at least for me it is.

Either way, we should not discuss religion, it's against rules.

Actually I don't think it's that bad, considering all the shit the world receives from various groups of religions. Example: When some people at the Vatican said Harry Potter represented evil and was wrong. I think this happened with Castlevania too but I'm unsure anymore. Or the other way around, when a kid got punished at school for saying the word "Christmas", because it could offend muslims, and those who wanted Christmas decorations to be banned from shopping malls.

At least if we can keep our freedom of speech it would be great (since we aren't using it deliberately to offend people). It's inevitable at some point or another some people or even medias will poke fun at various religious/non-religious stuff and some people even get paid for it (humorists/comedians), as a way to show that some people just make a huge thing about it. If you don't find it funny due to religious motives, then it's fine, as long as you allow other people to have fun (assuming they don't try to offend others) and don't do like somebody else who mass-deopped the IRC channel then deleted sub-forum contents.

Not really.  I'm not criticizing Christianity in any way, nor would I, considering I'm a Christian myself.  It started as a joke about Dec 24 being Omnimas because of the epicness of 31337.  Then the people on IRC, including me, got carried away, and turned Omnimas into a religious holiday.  :P
