Nitacku retires
« on: September 07, 2009, 02:46:50 pm »
We are sorry to announce that Nitacku is leaving Omnimaga staff. The reasons for his leaving are mostly related to being increasingly busy with real life and especially school, as he progresses into more and more demanding studies and classes. As a result, he can no longer contribute to the TI community as an active member and may not be able to visit the forums very much anymore. We still hope he will sometimes pay us a visit and that eventually he will become less busy, but no matter what, we would like to thank him for all his contributions to the Omnimaga community, be it calculator games, music, tutorials or help.

Yes, sadly I must retire. With school beginning tomorrow, it will be increasingly difficult for me to remain active. That is not to say that I will disappear altogether, but rather be on an extended leave of absence as I pursue higher education. I will try to stop by every once in a while and check up on the community.

As I embark on a new journey, I want to thank everyone in the Omnimaga community for being wonderful friends of mine with whom many memories I share. I encourage all of you to continue making Omnimaga one of the best communities around and never let anything stop you from following your dreams.

Thank you and always,
- nitacku

Sad to see you go but school should take priority.
P.S. What classes are you taking?

The classes which I am enrolled in at UofM Ann Arbor (Michigan) are:

EECS 215 - Intro to Electric Circuits
EECS 280 - Programming & Data Structures
NERS 211 - Intro to Nuclear Engineering
PHIL 383 - Knowledge & Reality

I'm particularly worried about the intro classes, as they tend to be more difficult.
Sort of as a method to "weed" out less determined students.

Over here, in College, after finishing hi school, the 3rd semester (when starting 2nd year of college) is often the hardest and most demanding. So much school work and stuff. As a result, there are about 10 students per classes who abandon. I was myself one in 2004 because working under such pressure with lot of deadlines is just not for me (as you could notice, none of my calc projects ever got deadlines)

See ya nitacku (and since I live in Ann Arbor that might be literal ;)).

I've met a few professors at UofM and they told me that the intro classes are intended to weed out students.
