I would apply if it wasn't for my English grammar not being perfect enough for such site. I also have barely any experience in 68K and Linux material. X.x

That said it would be nice if the person who applied was one who check forums regularly, so he can read more info about released programs as well as opinions about them, to have an idea of what is newsworthy or not. Ticalc is really in dire need of news. I tried to make up for the lack of news there lately but Omnimaga only focuses on games and dev tools and most people who come here comes for the forums.

DJ, your grammar isn't that bad.  I didn't know that English wasn't your first language until you mentioned it.
My website: Currently boring.

Projects:
Axe Interpreter
   > Core: Done
   > Memory: Need write code to add constants.
   > Graphics: Rewritten.  Needs to integrate sprites with constants.
   > IO: GetKey done.  Need to add mostly homescreen IO stuff.
Croquette:
   > Stomping bugs
   > Internet version: On hold until I can make my website less boring/broken.

his grammar most certainly isn't "bad" (and is, in fact, better than that of the majority of my classmates). there are, however, a couple of weird past tense things here and there, and ticalc is very picky about that type of thing.

Yeah that's what I meant. Also I would end up dealing with 2 sites at once so that might add some pressure as well. X.x

DJ, your grammar isn't bad at all! Your main language (I think) is French, and for a French speaker, it's really good ;D

Well as I said in previous posts, I won't apply. No need to try forcing me to.

yeah, if he doesn't want to, then don't force him. I'm sure he has other reasons why he won't apply that we don't need to know about.

I think it's due to the fact the FA/Review editors have to do two ticalc.org job and they are too busy to do so. Their news editor quit over a year ago (It was Michael Vincent)

I definitely don't plan on leaving the staff any time soon. :) The main issue is that all of us active staff members were getting too busy to properly keep up with news. I've also personally been planning on working on some of the deeper, darker areas of the site that really need it at some point and would like to be able to spend more time and resources on that task. So this seems like an appropriate time to find one or more extra people who can focus more on the news posting.

Ah that's good to hear. To be fair I saw the archive processing area from your screenshots and a lot of people would probably withdraw their staff application during the trial period due to that X.x.
