It works on Firefox on windows. Later when I reboot back into sabayon I'll try it again to see if it is still there

So it is definitely a client-side/browser issue.
Maybe sabayon doesn't support js src from external sources?

Its worked before for me and its just FF shouldn't be anything special about that

New update!
If you change the topic on efnet or omninet it'll auto-change it on the other channel :)

And I think I know what cuases multiple nicks: the bot reconnecting.

Well it sometimes doesn't load until I disable and reenable it with the toggle feature, and even when it does, it rarely refreshes at all. I have to reload the page constantly.

Are you using the newest version of firefox? the refreshing sounds to me as if your browser cashes it, try to disable cash for omnomirc.www.omnimaga.org (even thought it shouldn't be cashed in first place)

EDIT: all smileys that are not :smiley: now need a space or the beginning of the message in front of them

By the way do you plan to fix the bug that causes nicknames to not be removed when someone switches to a different nickname on the forums? I wonder if the same one for IRC was fixed? (I think if someone changed nick the nickname remained in the list, along with the new one)

I think eventually it'll be removed automatically.......same with the other duplicates.

EDIT: So, i've been working on this since some time, and I think this is finally in a state that i can announce it officially!
So, believe it or not, but OmnomIRC supports by now text-based browsers like elinks that don't have js installed! So far only chatting on #omnimaga is working. Have fun!
