200$ for an 8 Gig, although i really like 32 gig for all the music/apps that i have, so it would be 300$ for a new one.  Yeah Apple sure knows how to charge you for stuff that you cant fix yourself :/

Ah well it would be best to have a fullcalc skin and you just hit the buttons there or use a modified keyboard or something like that instead of using the whole screen.
That sucks...hmm...I should buy an iPad or something with some of my prize money...
Well at least you have insurance...shouldn't the warrenty cover that though?

I heard iPads are basically giant iPhones/iTouches. Anyone know if that is true?

I heard the same, but I can't vouch for it personally.

They are, but they have an upgraded OS to go with the screen, so they are better, and they are faster. So I really want one :p

I imagine someone playing a so called DDR on the imat, then BAM! loud rickroll under his feet.

Now how would such game design look like, though?

You can download the sdk for free as long as you have a MAC. However you cant run unsigned apps on an official iphone/iTouch. For that you pay a $100. I have mulled over this idea for a while on bringing wabbitemu to the iphone(jailbroken of course). I was in the process of converting it over but I ran out of time. I have the source for Will's MAC version and I was working on getting that set up/converted but didnt get much farther than that. It's possible but it can be a lot of stuff that I just dont have time to help with right now.

Having it in the App Store costs money. Besides, I doubt that Apple will accept an unofficial TI emu. So I guess the best solution is to put it on one of the sources that can be accessed through Cydia or Rock.

EDIT: @DJ Omnimaga: those pics are epic!  ;D

EDIT2: I've just noticed something weird on the iPhone pic: the iPhone looks very small. Or is just because the hand is huge? :P
