It'd be interesting, but it doesn't have to be so blatantly obvious - that makes for a weak storyline. I won't be working on this, but I just wanted to throw in my two cents :)

I updated the wiki with some of the storyline proposals as well as information on the (currently agreed upon) universe (at least, as it would seem).

So far, at least from what was suggested on irc, the most popular option seems to be my idea with some aspects of Sorunome's (the disease as a gameplay mechanic as well as storyline element could be very interesting, and have great effect)

Not much is known about these mysterious people except that they all carried calculators of some kind and they all seemed to converge on one house in particular. Experts estimate that the combined power of their fabled calculators is greater than all the worlds super computers put together. The group seems to be holding out in the home of a certain DJ_O, who the Omnimagians claim to be their founder. Such power has put the world at a standstill with everyone waiting to see what the Omnimagians will do...

Wait... This just in, the Omnimagians have sent the UN a list of demands that must be met or else the world will be "submitted to the wrath of Netham45's Lobster Army". Such demands include >9001 crates of peanuts, sacrificial blue lobsters, and a wide assortment of cherry flavored items. With such computing power stored in the hands of such people, we can only hope these demands are met.

In the wake of these events, we can only ask, Why? Why do these people make these demands, what caused them to gather, and what are their future plans...

Rumor? It's not a rumor if it's the truth... XD

I'd love to have a yeong-ish character guarding a bridge, though. That'd make a minor, if fun, reference.

That's the goal with some of these things. :P If we make the world kind of a cross section of omni and the community altogether, it would have a nice effect on players (and might even inspire some to join in on the fun)

This sounded well on the IRC channel, but what if throughout the game the player is addressed as "guest"? And at the end, you "register" an account for omni? :P

Lol, Yeong should be an omni member that was infected and turned evil. He then remains on The Bridge between TI and Casio and is the boss that the player must defeat there
