Not a chance of that happening, unless you've figured out how to hack the homescreen into using individual pixels with BASIC.

No ASM is allowed, including Libraries. This is a pure BASIC competition. I could do some really cool stuff with the tilemapping engine if I only I could use ASM functions.

I am really confused, though. Are you using an OS glitch or something or a 2.53MP-only thing? Could you PM me your trick if you don't want it public? It irks me that you are so cryptic. Just "A" doesn't say anything to me...

There isn't a way to hack BASIC into doing something beyond it's commands without hacking the interpreter itself. Since TI created BASIC to be perfectly safe for anyone to use, there's no way to modify the interpreter without ASM. Unfortunately, ASM isn't allowed, so that's not possible. When I said that the routine can only display certain sequences, I meant the alphanumeric characters that TI-BASIC uses the buttons to enter, such as A, B, C, 1, 2, 3, and so on.

The individual pixels are the collections of pixels that make up each character.
