Are there any multiplayer functions?
« on: August 22, 2006, 12:00:00 pm »
I would like to know if there are any multiplayer / online functions for the calculators My friend has an obsessive mother who buys him too much gear for school, and she got him 3 fuggin calculators. Voyage 200, 89 something and 84. It would be cool if we could play multiplayer. Is this possible?

hmm it depends. I dont know much about the 89/v200, but on the TI-84 there is soem games that can be played via the small link cable that come with the calc, with another calc. such games are Mario Deathmatch, tetris, and there may be a few others I forgot

As for online its not possible yet. there was projects about this but I dunno how far they are completed

I think gCn2 may take off though (a Cemetech.net project), but the 89 and v200 might be able to talk to each other. And if he can't, would he willing to send them my way? (j/k)

most 68ks will use the linkport, not the mini USB for multiplayer games.

unfortunately, you can't play anyone through the internet yet ;)wink.gif
