Best tamagotchi game
« on: August 01, 2013, 10:46:29 pm »
Hello so i have a ti-84 plus and im searching a nice tamagotchi game for my calc (or any virtual pet)
Of coursei would like something with graphics not just text and i saw one that took 144K of memory wich is insane for the 400-something K of memory
So im not only searching for one im searching for a GOOD one!

Pls help,
Mickio

Hi,

I think the problem is that a Tamagotchi (from what I remember in the 90's) is supposed to be a virtual pet that mimics everything possible by a pet including dying (permanently). This must require extreme amounts of RAM, although probably not this much. If you find a much smaller one it probably doesn't even come close to being the same thing.

Does this one have text? I never tried it http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/402/40299.html

Else there is that mispelled one: http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/154/15461.html

Sadly Tamagotchis are not as popular anymore so you probably won't be able to find much for the 83+/84+

Hey there. I once wanted to make my own simulator for the TI-89, but it never happened since I wanted to make a true port but didn't know the "algorithm". :P

The only good (looking) simulator I saw is the last one DJ just posted. I never tried it though.
