I was thinking to make a 83/84+ Version of this, but instead of colours, we'd have Light Grey>Dark Grey>Black>White always shifting.

I'll give it a try.

If you're into grayscale on Z80's, I'd HIGHLY recommend getting a TI-86. The screens on those handle 4-level grayscale beautifully and put the 84 Plus to shame.

Grayscale on the 84+ can look nice too. It depends of how it's done. Also as good as the 86 might be, almost nobody use them anymore so if he programmed for it barely anyone would use his games.
