yeah I saw, pretty nice, it would be cool if the member would announce the projects on many other website, maybe even 68k french website like ti-gen since they speak english as well :)smile.gif

He told me on IM he was working on a BASIC Mario with Xlib, with 4x4 scrolling.

heh... would you be interested in optimizing a fight scene in my game? lol... it was fine... back when all it was was the enemy... then i added in the main character, and *splat*...

yeah I was thinking about that but the fact there was alerady an ASM one demotivated me, but it would be cool to see this one come out if it has some features Sam's doesn't :)smile.gif

yeah I hope to see how it will come out, the only platform game shtat has been made so far is Diortem and Contra and Diortem is not finished. I really need to try contra again someday I liked it a lot, I tried on the regular 83+ I cant imagine how it can be on the SE, its 100% pure BASIC with no ASM libs

on the SE it pwnz... personally I liked the jump-man engine as an alternative to the Contra one...

You know, I thought about makin a Mario clone out of the RPG starter kit... Only problem I would have is the actual scrolling...
