Welcome to the site! Always nice to see fresh meat newcomers, especially considering this isn't the most active forum on the internet  ;D
Also, you can never have enough peanuts!

Lua / Re: "Bypass" APD in Nspire

You might be able to use this: https://github.com/compujuckel/nspire-task-manager and shut down the process related to APD
Or it might crash, idk :p

4393: you lurk for the past two years before finally making a post, because you are rather forum-shy... \:

Make a 3d mmorpg designed specifically for the rasberrypi unit
(I heard that the GPU capabilities are that of an xbox 1)
You should be able to do this as guild wars 1 runs on very low system requirements, and all processing power would be instead just for 3d rendering and sending/receiving server packets. (All tasks that require processing power would be handled by the server)

Other Calc-Related Projects and Ideas / Re: TI netcat

Wow, Iv'e always wanted to have internet on the nspire.

Do you think that the periphal used to connect the nspire to their special router could work? That would be awesome XD

This looks like a great project!

Wow, what a huge undertaking.

It'd be cool, though, if we could port minecraft to the nspire through it. O.O I don't care how slow it runs.

NO HURRY THOUGH, that is the prime numerator with these kind of projects.

Good luck, I would really like to see this come to fruition!

Looks completely awesome to me! However, there might be some *lag* issues. You'll have to make it pretty lightweight for it to run on such low hardware specs.

Cool game, I like (:
BTW, the game sometimes glitches in the map generation, weirdly.
My calc IS overclocked

TI-Nspire / Cool game to port to nsdl?
« on: August 08, 2012, 02:55:09 pm »
Somebody might want to try to port this game to nsdl. (I can't because I have no coding experience whatsoever  <_< )

The game is called opentyrian, and it might be pretty nice, looks like it would actually run...

It's a top-down shooter, kinda like dodgin' diamonds but better.

Anyway, here's the link

http://code.google.com/p/opentyrian/
