TI-Nspire / Re: nspire Linux Questions
« on: April 23, 2013, 01:36:15 pm »
I've been having an issue with X/Xorg, where after I issue the command, it loads to a blank screen. I have a working rootfs, and everything else works. (I got it from TI-Planet)
Am I missing a xinitrc file? Also, I would post my log file but I don't have access to a *nix computer right now.
I'm using a CX with a USB OTG hub. OTG mode is enabled, since my rootfs didn't work without it. The rootfs is the full rootfs, most recent release.
Edit 2: Never mind. I'm just going to use an older build. It seems that something with xinitrd is broken in the latest release.

itechnoguy: the specs you're quoting come from an unreliable second-hand source, which was itself quoting a site whose information was clearly wrong. The image posted above makes it clear that the screen has a much higher resolution than 131x80...
Yeah I thought they seemed unreliable. I do hope the calculator actually has a SD card port though.

I don't know how trusted these specs are though because the original source site took down their page about the calculator and there's also nothing on the processor but they're speculating that it's the same one as the 50g since the rest of the specs are the same
Also, this site:
http://www.neobits.com/hewlett_packard_hp_nw280aa_b1k_la_la_hp_prime_p5737329.html
is already selling it for $112.95 but they have no info at all and status is back ordered.

It's going to have:
A total of 2.5 MB memory (512 KB of RAM and 2 MB of flash ROM), and yes 330 and 800 KB availible respectively
A CAS engine with step by step solving
131x80 resolution screen
3D graphing
And apparently a SD card port (doesn't say what kind)
