I am still a long way from hitting the 40 post mark.

I just started trying to "de-code" your program. After I finally figured it out, I added manual reloading by pressing the "R" button and I got rid of the automatic reload. I think it is rather unrealistic personally, and it forces the gamers to look more closly at their Ammo count and remember to press the reload button.

The best part is that it actually works!

In case anyone is interested (which I doubt). I have decided to take on this project and finish it's development.

Bindernews would probabily criticize me for attempting to program though. However, this is the first time I seriously took up programming, and I believe I am dedicated enough to finish this project.

I was the friend that Bindernews was referring to. I spent alot of time making various sprites and music for this project. So far, the level designs are very intricate and complex, and there are sprites for various weapons.

Unfortunatly, we hit a standstill, and have not been able to get the programming done. I think it is very sad though, the game is practically finished sprite-wise and music-wise, I have all the levels and scenes planned out, and some of them are already mapped out. However, the enemy AI has become too complicated and frustrating, so we had to put this on "indefinate hold". I am hoping someday we can pick this project back up again.

Also note that we have added NUMBEROUS updates since the last attachment

I was working on a song all day, and I was about halfway done. I had the melody planned out completely and things were turning out good.
And then I decided to take a little nap. When I woke up, my brother had taken my laptop and closed all my programs. The probelm was that I forgot to save the song!!!

I will try to re-write as much as possible today, it should not take too long, because I have already written it once.
I may also post some songs from an unfinished project I had with Bindernews. I have quite a large collection of songs from unfinished games, although I think many of those songs will probabily not fit well with this game.

Also, just a little question because I am new here: How do you attach a file to a post? (can you?)
I need a way to post a song onto the forum. I would prefer not using Youtube, so it could be easily downloaded.

Ah yes... the rickroll, a classic meme.
NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP
NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN
NEVER GONNA RUN AROUND AND
DESERT YOU!

Finale TI: Your avatar icon looked familiar, but the "Scarlet Devil" made me think it isRemilia Scarlet from Touhou, right?

Stefan Bauwens: I have a TI-84 silver edition.

Hi! I am new around here on the Omnimaga Forums,
However, I am a friend to BinderNews, who you may know.

Some of you may remember me as the friend who contributed a song early on in the project.

I would like to help on this project, as I find it very interesting, and I think it would be fun to work on it.

I am not very good as a programmer, but I can draw sprites and compose
Generally, if you are willing to program something, I am ususally willing to draw the sprites for something.
I can also write any dialougue, if you want to put any dialougue in your game, that is. Writing is one of my favorite hobbys, especially when it comes to video games

If there is anything you want me to draw/write/compose, I will gladly work on it.
However, in order to successfully do any of that, I will need description and detail on what you want it to look/sound like.

Disclaimer: I am not nearly as smart as Bindernews said I was.

Thanks for the warm introduction!
And for the Peanuts!
Just wondering, are "Peanuts" some inside thing around here?

Hello World!!!
I am new to this Forum, if you can't tell already by my very low post count and the fact that I have a post here.
I am a friend to the user: BinderNews, if you know who he is. He has been pushing me to get an account on Omnimaga
for quite a long time, but I just now decided to get an account, partially because I am bored and I need something to
do.
Part of the reason why I restrained from getting a forum is because I know little to nothing when it came to Calculator
programming. Programming is just not really my thing.
However, while I have little knowledge of programming, I HAVE worked on game developement before, with Bindernews.
I spent alot of time with him on a project that endedup being on "indefinate hold". On that project, I worked as an Artist
and a Composer, I also wrote the dialougue and designed the levels.
I am excited to use this account as an oppurtunity to contribute to the various projects around this community.
Before I signed up on Omnimaga I took a look around at soome of the project that were going around. Some
Projects, particularly those on the PC, got me excited. I think I can contibute as:
1- An artist        2- A composer      3- A writer     4- A level/scenario designer     5- A tester

Hope to See you around!
