How hard would it be to port GCC for the purposes of using its inline assembler?
~bump~ I'm not sure, but maybe it could be done easily in Linux on the Nspire?
Answer : on Linux there's nothing hard, just cross compile gcc and you can do what you want.
Okay thanks. Do you know if it'd be possible to make a teenie tiny Linux distro for the Nspire whose sole purpose is compiling?

Wow... Needs to be written with a compatibility mode for the B&W touchpad. >_< Everything is so dark! Would greatly appreciate source and/or a rewrite. If you're OK with it, I can write the colors to be better for the B&W.

Can someone give me some help getting started with ASM programming for the TI-Nspire. I have very limited access to the computer and would like to know if it's possible to do ASM programming on the calculator, and if so, what do I need to do this, and how do I get what I need? Thank you in advance! --n00bGalore

One issue I've run into, is that after a short amount of time, the keypad starts to glitch. Meaning that I have to press a key a few times to get it to be typed, or sometimes it will be entered several times. Any solutions? thanks.

This seems pretty cool! How does it look on B&W Touchpad?

I know. My bad. I shouldn't have even asked the question in my introduction, though.

Okay, so I've tried to do some research at Hackspire and all over the net, but I cannot find the mountpoint in linux for the main filesystem (where /phoenix, /documents, etc. are located). Can someone help me, please? I'm sorry if this is out there somewhere and I apparently didn't look hard enough.
