Thanks for the speedy responses!
When I tried this, Pokemon was the only thing that was on the calculator, this was before I installed Link's Awakening (so it's not a space issue). Also, I don't remember how large the .8xk file is, but it did fit on the calculator.
And then, if you'll excuse my distinct lack of calculator skills, how does one do the reset? Is that just the "memory function, clear everything" sort of deal?

Yep, 2ND+[MEM] > 7:Reset... ([MEM] is above the plus sign.)

Right, that's what I thought. I'll try that tomorrow afternoon, then!

Howdy folks,
Recently I downloaded and installed TI-Boy on my friend's calculator (since mine isn't the correct hardware revision - She's not getting her calculator back for a long time) and installed Link's Awakening. This is all well and good, I get the entertainment I need during most of my classes and everything is great.
In any case, my friend asks if I can get Pokemon Red on her calculator, to which I think, "Why sure, it says you can run Pokemon in the readme, right?"
So I install it and run it - at which point it tells me (I believe the error was, it was a few nights ago and I've since uninstalled it) "Not enough memory".
Am I doing something wrong here? From browsing these forums, it appears that Pokemon will not run due to some 32kb of ram issue, but the readme says otherwise... and now I am thoroughly confused.

In short, how can I get Pokemon running on my friend's calculator?
I'm using a TI 84 + Silver Edition (although it's pink) and the serial code ends in A-G (although you could no doubt tell that by the fact that I already ran the program on Link's Awakening).
Thanks.
