@Hot_Dog: That's really awesome! Releasing the source by itself is great on it's own but including a "How to Modify" guide is really nice. I agree with DJ and do hope you stay around after you finish SAD. =)

Actually, both are 4 color. The sheet I posted is from the original gameboy game, as all the gameboy had was 4 colors. Some of Yunhua98's are slightly smaller than the originals for some reason (Charizard and Venusaur for example).

Yeah, it seemed to fit perfectly with what you were looking for, so I figured what the hey, no point in re-inventing the wheel.  :P
Besides, I'm not THAT amazing at pixel art. I usually use some sort of reference to help me out in drawing. Some of the references are much more obscure than others though, such as modeling Arc after the crest in FF5 samurai's helmet or Aria after Firion's feet. Yeah, i know.  :P
Ah, never played FF3. They still look decent for being downsized though.

I'm kind of confused about your explanation of this game is, but it kind of sounds like Tetris fused with Breakout in a one on one format. How exactly are you planning on implementing two players? Two players on the same calc would seem very awkward to me. You aren't planning an AI for the contest version, and AXE doesn't have access to linking between two calcs yet either.

I'd agree with DJ, this sounds like a Calc GS issue to me. I'm not sure what to suggest as an alternative. Could you break the project into seprate Calc GS files(I've never used it so I am unsure how it is setup)? As far as dungeon space feeling cramped the only thing I can suggest (which would require reworking) is the same I did before. Allow scrolling and ditch the side HUD.

To me Archeowyrm does seem awkward. It is quite a mouthful, and doesn't really seem to mesh the two words very well in my opinion. Twin-Serpent is more simplistic and to the point.
