I think the grayscale version looks excellent. However, I don't think this converted to balck and white very well.

95. You are IMMUNE to the effects of a Rick roll.
96. You consider Rick Astley a deity. 97. You fear the day the lobster army will invade. >_> 98. When you visit a local electronics store you *ALWAYS* go and browse their graphic calculator section. 99. You know the native resolutions of all or most TI calculator models. 100. You daydream about how you are going to fix/optimize code when at work or at school. *Edit* Awesome thread guys, I find too many of them true... O_o 4884
Pokemon Red / Re: Pokemon Red Help« on: June 20, 2010, 10:09:25 am »
What exactly are you asking? Do you mean: "Would it be possible to port the version Buckeye is creating (once it is completed) to a different calculator (Z80 or 68K)? Or are you asking if it is possible to port the original pokemon rom to a different platform?

I think this is a really cool idea, and it'll be really fun to play around with once it reaches a more complete state. I'll read up on the pdf when I have some time and give some input. =) And don't get discouraged, Haters be hatin. This is a HUGE undertaking, but the learning experience and the satisfaction once it is completed will be worth it. =)

Just FYI, the original pokemon red had a pretty high critical hit rate for those wondering. I need to get back to working on sprites more, I think I left off at Paras. Oh, and I couldn't find anything additional for the encounter rate Buckeye, so just use what you have.

This is looking really nice, it'll definetly be a tough entry to contend against. It's lucky that you found some great spriters to help you out with this. Zera's Custom font looks cool in there too.

It's good to take a minute and slow down sometimes. Seriously, I have no idea how you manage to contribute as much as you do. Take whatever time you need, you deserve a break!
