Well, I downloaded it and tried it on both my Ti-83+BE and my Ti-83+SE. It functions properly on the BE, but isn't fast enough to be any fun. On the SE however, it was quite fast, and highly addictive as well. Great job!

Hmmm... on Ti-freakware it was possible to setup a private topic that only beta testers could see (Ranman did this for Ultima). Perhaps something similar is possible here?

It looks to be a bit slow in Fire fox to me as well. I was also wondering, how do you tell which tiles are impassable?

Also, even if you move to the 83+, feel free to continue making 86 ports of your games if you desire. The audience for the 86 was always smaller than other models due to poor marketting by TI, but it still has a die-hard userbase. I myself own one and I believe some other staff does, too.
That's true, I still own and love my TI-86. It was the second calc. I bought, but it was the best TI offered at the time(IMO). Hell, you might even cause some waves of nostalgia if you were to release a new Ti-86 program after all this time! =D

For something "thrown together" This looks sweet. I can definitely see myself "wasting" too much time playing something like this. XD

I loved Final Fantasy Tactic Advance, not sure how similar this is though,(looks more action based)but I'll give it a go. I'm curious though, what is the max number of enemies you plan on having on screen at once?

Hey welcome here! If you are really familiar with Z80 on the TI-86, it shouldn't be a big deal to switch over to the TI-83 family. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us!

Can you include the ++ and -- operators from C++?
Quote
I might.  A++ can save 2 bytes when assembled instead of doing A+1.
I'm not very familiar with C++, but if I understand properly the ++ and -- commands do Variable +/-1 ==Variable? IE A++ would increment A by 1 and store the new value to A? If this is correct you could use the IS>( for ++ and DS<( for --. They are commands that aren't really used in BASIC and act somewhat similarly anyway. I should also take a moment to mention that this looks like a very promising undertaking. Can't wait to see how it develops!

I looked it up on wikipedia. It appears to be a huge database that draws answers form previous conversations and "learns" based upon that. The way it responds that seems pretty solid to me. That also explains why somtimes it's way off base and sometimes its responses are out of order (ie the rickroll some lyrics were out of place). I have become rather obsessed with this thing though. It's very interesting.
