Multiple modes? So like gamemodes ( creative vs survival ). This server will be survival and there will be land that people can buy etc ( There already is land you can buy and still lots of open plots )
The vps should have enough ram for now, as long as nobody goes and explores too far. I might break down and buy my own host later.
I know people want creative mode etc, but this will not have creative mode ( Except for a few things for making the initial 3 plots ) because I like being legit, and then the money is actually useful for something other then buying plots. I still have to talk to more admins about making this an official server though ;P

Cool. One day I need to try getting on your servers really and cause havoc... er I mean look around to check what you built. Do they lag a lot, though? This was annoying on juju server.

You can't cause havoc due to Towny You can't mess with stuff if it isn't yours or the wild
I may lag a little right now due to only having 2.5MB/s upload but when I get a better server for it, that shouldn't be an issue.

It's a bukkit server with a whole bunch of mods installed, mainly iConomy and Towny so basically you can own land etc
I'm hoping to get it a more permanent host later on and maybe make it an official Omnimaga server or something

Hmm, looks like there are a couple smaller ones with the specific messages saying to contact, juju or you to register. I'll go fix that.

Netham is out of town too so who knows when he will be back to fix things. ( I can't even log into the vps right now ).

I added another package a little while ago to the repo. If you have a withg account you will see it in action every time you log into ssh
System-msg allows admins to easily add messages to be displayed at boot without having to edit files. Although with the -f flag you can edit a file if you want to make it look perfect first

They may have been heavy but they were made to last
I miss that about old tech....they actually weren't made as cheap as possible so they wouldn't break that easy ( Case and point; my laptop's motherboard died and it's not even a year old ).
