Ah ok :( I really wish all the browsers would hurry up and update to CSS3 standards, things would be so much easier...

D: well Opera should support border-radius, maybe Keith doesn't have the standard tag, or Opera doesn't actually support CSS3 yet...

EDIT: checked and he does use border-radius, so it must be Opera :(

yeah, it's a little hard to do that for IE, but there are ways (images) usually when I do rounded corners I use these CSS tags and any that don't support it, they still look good non-rounded, just not quite as good.
Code: [Select]
border-radius
-webkit-border-radius
-iwebkit-border-radius
-moz-border-radius
This should work on all webkit based browsers, all mozilla browsers (FF 3+) Opera Chrome and IE 9, everthing else would require images though.

EDIT: I just read that you might be able to use -khtml-border-radius for Konquer (KDE's standard Browser) but it wasn't confirmed.

I agree with Nemo, this should be in Web Development, so I'll move it, and I'm also wondering about why you made this thread if you aren't actually showing this off but asking about making an icon?

Hey it looks nice :) I'm willing to offer my services as a web designer if you want, maybe make a dynamically loaded site for you so you don't have to code by hand but use a web interface to handle all content :)

Of course I get more computer trouble :( took my laptop to school and now power isn't getting to it :( I think it was too cold for it, so hopefully after it heats up for a while it will work.

I hope so too :(

Ok, gave up on it, but I decided to use something easier to install stuff with (SLAX) so I put PLoP on a Floppy, and I'm going to install SLAX on the drive with my USB and then run from there :) SLAX is really easy to install with so I don't have to worry as much as with ARCH x.x and I'll already have a user interface :) I'm also going to switch from the standard KDE desktop to LXDE for even faster booting. wish me luck!

I've resorted to trying ndiswrapper, so hopefully that works. Got all the drivers and stuff, just haven't installed it yet.

Well I'm still running into errors, my wifi seems to be working all except for the fact that I can't associate, and iwconfig wlan0 is suppose to list the current settings, but instead it just starts outputting all my wifi driver does and my keyboard stops responding :(

Back on topic, why don't you ask Benjamin Moody how he made Mimas? I LOVE MIMAS!!!! (Sorry, overkill) Mimas lets you edit each line by itself, and it is surrounded by a rect. Check it out HERE.

Hm... In the overall, what is Mimas? I have no idea lol, gotta check the thread

EDIT: Mimas is an integrated development environment for writing Z80 assembly programs on the calculator (no PC or other tools required.) It supports libraries, multi-pass assembly, separate code/data segments, a compact bytecode source format, an extensive library of built-in constants, and more. This version fixes a serious bug in the assembler (spurious "symbol-redefined" errors and occasional crashes) and some minor bugs in the conversion tools.

:oooo Nice, downloaded
please stay on topic

Ok, so with the help of Jonimus and a little from Tari I've gotten my wifi card somewhat working :D I can play around with wlan0, but I haven't been able to get it to connect yet, but there is signal to my wifi because it sees it when I scan :D so I might get Internet and be able to install stuff with ease!

Help us Steve Jobs!!
No, just no

Hmm, well we installed XP a long while back because that was the best computer we had.
Thanks for recommending, I'm so use to Arch though that I don't really want to make another switch :P

Thanks @DJ
