Casio Calculators / Planète-Casio's Ludum Dare
« on: October 30, 2011, 07:41:48 pm »
Hello anyone!
We just finished our Ludum Dare test, and 3 games are finsihed "at time" (~20 min late for the last)

1. Gravity runner

Page here
Hum... My game. :-°
How to say? I tried to make a game I liked on Iphone. There's not spikes, portals, switches, but it's my game, and I did it on 48 hours (not really in prog time :-°)

Video from original game (it's very different from mine :/)

2. Greeny Gap
Page Here
KevkevVtt's realisation. Comes too from a flash game. Try flying between two deathly floors and ceils! Will you do it?
Link to original game:
Here

3. Gravity Duck (for me, the best)

Link to page Here
PierrotLL's masterpiece.
Switch gravity and avoid ennemies to collect golden eggs and become rich!
Comme (three?) too from a flash game, located Here

Here you go for the 0# edition Of Planète-Casio Porgramming mini-contests!

« on: October 22, 2011, 06:42:06 am »
Hello guys!
I'm correcting the LFX documentation stored here:http://prizmwiki.omnimaga.org/wiki/Lua_Documentation
I wish that will make the doc easier to understand.
Now, i've corrected to "The numbers in more detail"

;) Good luck using LFX!

Oh, and one movie of the first luAFX game ever!

Casio Calculators / [SDK] IsKey too slow...
« on: August 19, 2011, 05:30:37 pm »
Hello everyone!
I want to find anything to avoid using IsKeyXX functions, there are really too slow. I don't want to use RFX, because there are bugs on G35+ (Press Left and the calc will understand Up and Left...)...

I can use the syscalls, or the adresses, if I have all the adresses (I Have functions to determine model)...
So, if anyone may light me to pointing a function that is faster than IsKey and non buggy, please?

Music Showcase / Another 8Bit Nyan Cat
« on: August 17, 2011, 12:50:53 pm »
Hello world!
I want to test to make a good version of our lovely Nyan Cat song. SO i wanted to test Famitracker.
Here the first version, designed first to be a subjection to Nyan Cat for nSpire:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/23313407/Music/8Bit%20Nyan%20Cat/nyan.mp3
And the ftm version:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/23313407/Music/8Bit%20Nyan%20Cat/NYan%20Cat%20v1.ftm

After many tests, i saw the notes are duplicated, the sheet was based for piano, so, i lighted the music, nd here the 3rd version, the second brings nothing very important...
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/23313407/Music/8Bit%20Nyan%20Cat/NYan%20Cat%20v3.ftm
I will finish him (FATALITY) with a friend.
Enjoy! :p

EDIT: Done!

For all things here!

Hello everyone! Here comes my favorite game: [BOXED].
Boxed is a (another?) Sokoban. You're in a room with boxes you can only push, and you must place them to dots to clear the room.
Easy to understand, nah? So, let's practise (medicine) brain burning!

All the game is made by my hands, graphics like game engine. First was only the Casio's Version. 25 levels, but not level pack system, neither scrolling.
Yesterday (04/02/2012), I could publish my newborn the Axe version. Only 10 levels, and same miss than her elder sister, but with a new main menu!
// The video of the first version, Casio version
// The AXE version.

INSTALLING:
Casio: Take the g1a, and put it in your calc, there are tuts, so I won't give the instructions.
TI: BOXED is the program to copy, the other is source. (BXED is ma

Keys:
TI version:
[F1] : Retry
[F2] : Skip level (tempoary, you cuty cheaters!)
[CLEAR] : Exit
[SHIFT] : Validate
[ARROWS] : Move.

CASIO version:
[F1] : Retry
[F5] : Precedent level (tempoary too)
[F6] : Next level (tempoary too)
[EXIT] : Exit
[EXE] : Validate
[MENU]: Using Getkey, I found great to quit within the game with the menu. You can too shut off the calc.
[ARROWS] : Move.
Don't touch the Options section, you'll freeze your calc.

Voilà voilà, I hope you'll take some time to test, enjoy, and feedback! :p
See ya!

Casio Calculators / Acces to characters
« on: August 10, 2011, 03:24:10 pm »
Hello world!
I wanted to make my function Print, which combinated to a user library would make the sdk library useless, just for graphics.
BUT, i dunno how to acces to the characters inside the calculator.

Is a syscall or an adress existing?

Thanks

Introduce Yourself! / g.letter("Hello World"); refresh
« on: August 09, 2011, 11:24:44 am »
Hello everyone! I'm Eiyeron. I'm just a Casio Programmer. I don't hate Ti, but if i didn't saw a old G25 (just a old crappy calculator), I should have a Ti-83+ or besser...
So, I have a Graph100+(french AFX 2), and a Graph75+ (Graph 35+ USB modded to Graph75).
Why these 2 calculators? I'm programming on the LuAFX/LuaFX Project. A recent project to make a Lua port inter-compatible. I'm also the author of the first original LuAFX game: 4-power.
WXhat happens now: I program too in C (viva crappy Casio sdk! :p), and i'm thz author of a library who will be nex released, Easy Coding, E-Code).

So, so... i'm French! :p Donc, voilà, je suis Modérateur du site francophone Planète-Casio, et je tiens à ce que la communauté Casio aie autant de succès de celle de TI...
So, I'm moderator of the french site Planète-casio (french needed, because the international section is DEAD, or if you want to revive it), I want to Casio's communauty to have as succes as Ti's.

Now... Have a good Day!
