Everything looks so different with SMF 2.0

I'm not so sure about mirroring images within the Lua code itself, but if you have the original image (.gif, .png etc) you could mirror it and convert it to image code.

Yeah I got the Humble Bundle as well. I already own Civ 4 + 2 expansions.
I was playing Civ 5 yesterday and some parts almost feel like an RPG, levelling up or similar. I didn't really get that epic feeling of controlling an empire, rather controlling many 'bases' that churn out units.

Sounds like the ccookies or something similar are being cleared on Firefox. You've probably checked the Privacy settings already, or it could be something in about:config. I mostly use Chrome, even with the memory hog.

I got the Humble Sid Meier Bundle which ended a few days ago, and lasted 2 weeks.

It included:
Pay $1 or more: Civilization III Complete, Civilization IV Complete, Railroads, Ace Patrol, Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies
Pay more than the average price (over $10 by offer end): Civilization V, Civilization V: Gods and Kings expansion, [added after one week: 2 Civlization V DLC, Sid Meier's Pirates!]
Pay $15 or more: Civilization V: Brave New World expansion

Plus, The award-winning Civilization IV Theme song, Baba Yetu, and the full Civilization V soundtrack.

The offer was too good to pass up, $100+ worth of games on Steam for $15. I paid $15.01. :)

Ok, that's weird, because over 3 years later, I'm preferring Civ IV at the moment. More recently I really got into Civ IV, and was amazed at the depth of strategy and flexibility of options. The better I got at Civ IV, the more frustrated I got at Civ V for being out of balance, missing information and options (or hiding them away in menus). Civ V definitely has a smaller learning curve than Civ IV.

Looks good, that will make it useful when editing in the Script editor, and creating an image in nSPaint in the same document.

For now I'm still using the combination of Notepad++/luna/kArmTI to code and test my Lua code.

Music Showcase / Re: My first completed MTVMG creation - Through the Mix

Thanks for the replies, everyone! :) I haven't really got any performance issues with MTVMG, other than some annoying flickering of the whole screen occasionally, and disabling Aero on Windows 7.
It's trying to do some things without much idea on how to do them.
Here's an example with the riff editor open on one of the drum riffs.

The colours from blue to green/turquoise mean octaves, I get that. I added in '12's at octave 4 for the drum riff on layer 3. But as part of the pre made riff there are '13's and '10's as well. But whatever I try to click I get '12's no matter what layer I choose. I think the numbers indicate like different samples of the drums (cymbals, drums etc.), but I'm not sure how to change them. That is still something I am experimenting with. :)

Thanks guys, I hope in the future I can make better melodies, just that the riff editor is confusing.

Music Showcase / My first completed MTVMG creation - Through the Mix
« on: December 25, 2013, 05:52:07 am »
Hi everyone,
I have attempted several times to create some music using MTV Music Generator (because that's what DJ Omnimaga uses!). Sure I have my piano and instrumental compositions I made in Finale, but a few weeks ago I wanted to try something different.
The result is this (which I completed on December 16):
http://www.mediafire.com/listen/3pq873cddk4euuc/Through%20The%20Mix.mp3

Most of it is made up of pre-made riffs so there is some clashing in melodies. As I got further through the song, I modified some of the riffs, even though I don't understand half the numbers and buttons in the Riff editor. The song, called Through The Mix ended up being nearly 6 mins long :D

Hope you enjoy, and have a Merry Christmas!

That looks really good with the Deal or no Deal artwork. I wonder what is the player standing? Perhaps, as you increase it between games, you can unlock features or something?

Cool, the game runs well (got it working on the old greyscale on the emulator)

Just confused in the help screen, "Try to win the 34 levels but don't worry if you do so, you go to level 1 again"
Well if I lose I have to start from level 1 as well, but does that mean you can play through the game more than once and still have it added to your highscore?

Personally I'm really bad at breakout/break block games, so I only got to level 2 ;D

Lua / Re: TI-Nspire CX 2013 Back-To-School Running OS 3.2.4.1237

Damn what happened to backward compatibility? If a newer OS should come across setAlpha maybe it should ignore it and continue running the program, instead of throwing a program ending error?
