Did you read my whole sentence? I said this will not work with this script

Ok. But you can use the chipmunks physic program include in OS 3.2 or no?

Yes. You put
Code: [Select]
require 'physics' on the top of your script.

But this will not work with this script, not at all. You'll have to write your own script for that, I guess you should read this.

I know, but have you read the terms and conditions of the .bf extension? It's Burkina Faso, and they seem to have very strict rules about what is allowed and what not.

And .bf is also used for file ending of brainf*ck files >.>
That's the reason why it would be so cool :) I wouldn't know what the url should be then though.
I won't do it, I don't have brainf*ck knowledge, and I don't have website programming knowledge...

It looks great :) although I would consider an RTC, that might come in handy.. do you use millis() now?
I like the simplicity of it, how you can do anything with only 3 (!) buttons

I had this incredible idea today, maybe someone could setup a website like
learn.bf or something, or brainfuck.bf (although i'm afraid that one wouldn't be allowed)

I saw the extension .bf, and thought of brainf*ck immediatly xp

Don't you use an RTC?

Sad news: This early prototype is not self-contained. Which means: There is simply not enough space for batteries. The cr2032 cannot supply enough current and they drain rapidly, so this is what I came up with: A small cable to a battery :3
That's a nice solution, the battery will still be attached to the wathc I guess/hope?

It's kinda inevitable that it consumes a 'lot' of power, but have you thought about some kind of sleep function? As you can see here you can save a lot of working time by simply putting it into sleep, together with dimming the backlight. Or have you already done so?

Good work. But it's very slow on calc :-(
I know, that's the sad part about it, you may even call it disturbing/frustrating/horrible/throw-your-calc-out-of-the-window slow... but there's nothing I/we can do about it, I don't think I can really optimise the code

I think I'm better with a single image per map (that doesn't mean I can't change my mind tho, if I optimize my program to go fast enough maybe I'll have both speed and lightness).
So you mean like a different image for every track? won't that be a lot of wasted space? And you'll need an additional array/structure that overlays the track on the image, which could go wrong if there's some misplacing of the overlapping.

Sounds interesting, any one have a video?
A video of the chipmunk engine? Well, if you have the student software a handheld, you could try the code Jim posted above (they're really nice tbh)

@Nick My eat nethams game seems to run somewhat faster on 3.2 than it did on 3.1. The lobsters definitely fall smoother when setting it to the 100% spawn rate. It's not much of an improvement, but to me it seems to be something like 5-10%. It also could be I'm just imagining it, sadly I do not own 2 CXes so I can't test :p
That's what I hoped, that it would be faster, but still :o pff, I guess we could never expect it to be superlightningthunderboltfast, but at least a little afster than now xs but yeah, any improvement is nice..

It's up to the mainstream and the businesses. Whatever works best for them.
No, people want to continue using software they're already used to.
Best example:

All I can tell you is that I run win8, and I use it exactly the same as win7.
Heeey, that's my quote xp yeah, you're right. They're too late..
Same goes for the upcoming new blackberry OS fot touch screen devices. They were enormously popular back in 2000-2008, when touch wasn't really a hype, but they lost clients because everyone thought touch was better, and now they'll have a hard time to win back the old clients, because they're alreay used to other interfaces than the blackberry one

(I just tried your .tns -> it's so cool on TINCS that you will be making everyone lose time :x lol congratz)
how do you mean lose time?

We should try to make it with chipmunk too and see how it compares to your code, speed-wise, on TINCS it probably will be the same, on the device I don't know.
It'll be way better, I'm sure of that, but I never tried chipmunk on calc (still 3.1)
