Heh. I can relate to that. Maybe it's I am kind of a perfectionist, but when something I had a hand in doesn't turn out exactly the way I want it to, I first lose interest, force myself to do it anyway, then finally get angry enough to stop alltogether. At least for a while, until my ehrgeiz (woo, another german word that has found its way into the english language) kicks back in. Actually I am surprised that you found the strength to keep going for so long. Kudos for that. If you need a break, then by all means, take one, you of all people here earned it.   Btw: I don't think deleting the source was a good idea. I often find myself returning to old abandoned projects, and then I get annoyed when I realize I deleted it out of chargrin   As I told you, I am here for ya if you need someone to talk to, or even just to work off your anger ^^

nuff said? I am actually writing on chapter 3 right now. I may not have my papers here in the philippines, but I remember most of the important stuff. And currently redownloading episodes 18-22 to get a better grip on staying in-character...

I do hope he'll be back. He's just emotional and takes things very serious, maybe a bit too serious I'll try to be online as much as possible to snatch up any sign of him, anywhere. I'm really worried about him.

woa quite some necroposting here... it's still in my drawer, chapter 2 is done, no.3 is half-finished. :alien:  as with all other stuff, rl gets in the way waaaaay too often   If you're interested, I can upload chapter 2 when I get back to germany in January. though I personally think my writing style is still kinda crude and rudimentary... NGE (the anime) was probally one of the most dissapointing animes I have ever seen. It was great until the last couple episodes where I guess the writers ran out of ideas and decided to make an ending that was toatlly random and WAAayyy out there. |
actually, the ending was meant that way; but the project ran out of money and time. that's why there are some still images in there. The NGE movie was created by Anno Hidekai afterwards, upon non-ending requests by the fans to put a real ending to the story. The movie has the same ending as the anime, but focuses more on what's happening in reality (including all the dying :knight:  ) in contrast to what's happening in the minds of the characters.

nope... but the actual date doesn't matter much, as long as it's something to celebrate   (or to make money with) asked around, they start putting up christmas decorations as early as September, christmas offers expire somewhere in february %)
