the world, from a tricycles point of view. they stink, are noisy, but get you anywhere you want inside the city for approx. 0.15$ US (6 Pesos).
Oh and jeah, they're way too small for me, I keep bumping my head on the ceiling.

phillipine cuisine. there's a rich chicken soup with lots of egg, rice wrapped in banana leaves and rice cakes filled with coconut meat.
you may now start to drool.

Computer Usage and Setup Help / For all u pc customization junkies
« on: November 24, 2007, 12:35:00 am »
neato.... I think I'm gonna use that one, great substitution for the pesky quicklaunch thingy ^^

other stuff I use for changing the look&feel of the desktop:
-rainmeter (customizable statbar/-window)
-rainlendar2 (calender, by the same author as rainmeter)
-wallpaperchanger (does as it says ^^)
-allsnap (makes windows sticky, no more accidental overlapping)
-area04 window theme

@DJ: you just have to find programs that are not space-hogs ^^
for example: rainmeters fade-effect on mouse-over works fluently even on this machine (P3 800Mhz, integrated graphics, laptop)

You can always use an emulator, you do have a computer and internet access....right? (you can't argue with that logic, cuz if you do you'll be proving my point  :Ptongue.gif  ha!)

true. But I don't wanna code BM from scratch O_Oshocked2.gif
though that would be a good idea, too much old unoptimized stuff and senseless routines XDsmiley.gif

meh... get the joke already ^_^ I am not gonna waste time gaming in a foreign country :Ptongue.gif , though it's true I installed sro for my cousin
(unless that foreign country happens to be korea and I'm competing in the gaming WC  :wacko:triso2.gif )
Basically I'm here for what my mom calls "resocializing purposes", meeting relatives and trying to get my asthma away.

Point 3 isn't working well, there's the sea, and there's the dust and exhaust ._.

yeah... BM... that's another point on my list... :oops:embarassed.gif
I did not bring my calc to the philipines though  :ihatemypc:crash.gif

I think I have a memory card reader... smsed my cousin, he'll bring it along later... hopefully

Darn. Apparently I brought my digicam along, but not the funny-looking usb-adapter. Searching for alternatives... ._.

Actually, I already installed silkroad on his machine. :Ptongue.gif
But it's my cousin who's addicted to it this time, not me XDsmiley.gif (and sro is sloooooow and lagging)

Woo. I managed to persuade my aunt to get broadband (well, 384kbps counts as broadband here) and just finished setting up the router and the computers.

I'm fine, its HOT here, air is always humid, he food always has some kind of sweet taste ( spagetti+sweetness=weird ), I started college to see how it feels like ( the credits I get won't be transferred to germany :/confused.gif )

All in all I'm getting along well, and pics will come tomorrow :Dbiggrin.gif

Gonna get some fried bananas with chocolate sauce and honey, then off to bed *drool*

PS: non-alcoholic drinks seem to be always based on pineapple, ketchup is made of bananas with artificial coloring. weird but delicious.

News / Hacking threat
« on: November 17, 2007, 04:34:00 am »
The good thing about anything digital is; 1:1 backups are easy to make, and no action is ultimately permanent (of course unless he manages to damage the actual hardware)

I too agree it's just an empty threat... but even in the threat of power is power, as he just made himself an outlaw :/confused.gif

About actual and fictional age: Aging is just a part of life. Any medical method that soley aims at maintaining the look of youth won't prolong one's life, it will only satisy one's own fictional beauty. Actually growing up is something wholly different ^_^

BASIC, and its hybrid (think world map scrolling (like in RoL series) + stationary maps (think RoL series again)).

what libraries/tools do you use for your game?
a bit of clarification would be nice. :Dbiggrin.gif
