Other Calculators / TI-Nspire CAS Clickpad Question?
« on: May 08, 2011, 06:27:27 pm »
Alright I've been looking at the Nspire Clickpad and I have a question.

The Non-CAS is $159  :o

The CAS is $63  :w00t:

Does the CAS have less features then the Non-CAS?

If not, why doesn't it cost as much as the Non-CAS?

The TI-Cares form doesn't even have my OS in the OS drop down menu! I run Ubuntu 10.10 (I'm not getting the new version yet).

Not necessarily programming, just anything cool.
* Spyro543 steers the topic back on track.

Oh yeah, I did see a cool YouTube video where someone made an animation with a TI-30XIIS.
Spoiler For YouTube video please look:

pretty easy. just put a dot on the first thing and then make the emoticons you want and then press = which will probably give you a syntax error and then just keep adding on to it what you want it to do and press = and then use the arrow keys to go up and down the animation :)

Not necessarily programming, just anything cool.

And I do know what a 7-segment display is.

It's so basic and boring.

Seems like I could make it do something better.

Is there any way? I'm fine with replacing stuff inside of it, to an extent.

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong thread. Please move it if it is. :)

I has a Casio fx-9860G Slim.

And a TI-30XIIS. Can I make it do something cool? It's so basic and boring.

It will gush down through your esophagus
Don't all liquids do that?

neutralize your stomach acid
So I won't be able to digest anything? D:

crack open your liver and pancrea
Ow my tummy hurts...

enlarge your small intestine, shrink your large intestine
So it's reversing my intestine types.

make a coffee jello to block your anus
That's not healthy.

turn your eyes pink
So it's chemically reacting with my various eye juices? Sweet.

and out-stretch your tongue.
My tongue is long enough already. And how will this work?

I want to try the Screen Capture function on the FA-124 software... but it's grayed out when the program recognizes the calc.

Ok a screenshot from the program... The calculator is plugged in the computer and is on the receive mode, but FA-124 doesn't know that.
The two menu options are selectable.

This is weird. Shouldn't they be grayed out because there is no calc connected...?

And the menu items are grayed out when FA-124 recognizes the calc:

What is going on??  :banghead: ???

Ok if you split the triangle the hypotenuse is 30 and the bottom is 25. You can use the Pythagorean Theorem to find missing legs, too.

Seems like you can split that triangle in half and use the Pythagorean Theorem.
