Nevermind, I got it to work. Now it doesn't work with the hub though, it works through otg. Is there a reason for this?

Hi, I followed the instructions exactly using a raspberry pi and yet I get a kernel panic upon every boot. Any ideas?
Edit: when launching under /dev/sda1 it goes to panic much faster, but if under /dev/sda I get it to mount ext4 then I get a USB disconnect after about 5 seconds and then 10 seconds later a kernel panic.

Okay, so my TI-Nspire is having two pretty devastating issues.
1) When put in sleep mode upon reawakening it crashes often
2) The keys are often mapped incorrectly upon reboot, for example menu acts as shift and 2 acts as the letter j, etc. This takes anywhere from 4-10 reboots to fix (I have not found a consistent solution)
I have tried deleting everything on the calculator using the maintenance menu and that has not helped. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I am thoroughly confused.
I am trying to get USB host to work and I ran "dd if=/*rootfs* of=/media/USB
and got 3 files,
xconfig_20140223_1734.ext2.bz2
xconfig_20140223_1734.tar.xz
and xconfig-latest.tar.xz.
This didn't look right to me but I decided to attempt to boot from it anyway.
Needless to say, it didn't work.
What did I do wrong?
