Cool, this is pretty interesting. So there was some rivalry... So when those calc sites existed, did they all pop up around the same time because sites didn't exist yet, or was it like people wanted to get a piece of the action?

Yes, that is what I do  I have fun trying to see how many ricochets I can get  (the screenie is my best attempt so far) As for a game idea, I just thought of one... Maybe make barriers and give the users certain pieces. They place the piece that will redirect the (thing?) and the goal is to get it to a specific spot on the screen.

Exactly that ^ This program would get a 10/10 for convenience if I were to rate it  And it would get a 9.5/10 for how easy and intuitive it is to use  (Compared to a normal assembler, I would rate it at about a 12/20 for the two). EDIT: grammar

I was pretty sure there were two ways to access the keys in C for the TI-89 (three ways for ASM). One of them probably doesn't have a delay (but I am not sure).

I will say that I rather like the key layout .__. It seems more natural because Enter is used to select everything normally and ESC seems like escape.

Okay, I have a game idea using a program I call Ricochet. It is coded using Grammer and it relies solely on the contents of the graph screen. I have been having fun for the past few days playing with it so far, but I finally remembered to put it on my computer to upload  My question is, how can I turn this into an even better, more addicting game? Also, that isn't lag or anything you see in a few spots, it is just the tail uncurling once it has been smushed  To edit the size, the part that says 92→N can be changed to any other number bigger than 1. The size doesn't change the speed much at all as it only worries about the start and end of the snake thing.

Oh dear, I don't even know where to begin. That is just like a timeline of events, right? I wanted to see if I could get into the stuff like the politics and meanings of certain events. Even if it is just little stuff like the nDoom policy here or if there is anything elsewhere.

Awesome! I was directed here when i made a comment that I wanted to learn the history of the calc programming community. I already PMed DJ for info earlier, but I hope this can someday be a reality o.o Even if it takes a few years, the amount of history available could make for a huge document o.o

And maybe a quick save key? Like using → to save, [home] to quit with saving, [ESC] to quit without saving? It is so cool that it designed for the calc! I like how you made name input at the beginning
