So you really need 48-bit square root...
This could be fun

Hmm, that is an interesting question... I know of a simple algorithm that I have ported to 8-bit and 16-bit z80 code, but I haven't tried 24-bit or 32-bit...
EDIT: @cerzus69: he meant sqrt(x) as opposed to x2 I believe 2748

hldebc, actually, according to the note in the first code (I am assuming)

Does that lowercase "t" have an extra pixel?

Oh, that is a very good point. Keep in mind that the newer OSes are a little slower at a lot of things and have lots of bugs that can cause issues that aren't the programmers fault.

Grammer / Re: Grammer 2-The APP« on: December 02, 2011, 10:19:58 pm »
Well actually, when an error occurs, code can be redirected to an error handler. If the error handler tells it to call a Grammer error or exit, it will, but otherwise you can send it back to the code (and Ans and whatnot are restored properly).

Haha, I plan to add parser hooks, too, and you can make a custom error handler (in Grammer code), too

I am still caught between Benumbered, Exodus, and Zedd
![]() Well, as much as Benumbered seems like a fun game and as great as the speed and graphics are, I think I can narrow it down to Exodus and Zedd. 2760

Very nice! I know a lot of folks have trouble getting tilemapping to work nicely, but it seems you have done a great job! Awesome!
