General Calculator Help / Re: Exact measurements on TI-Nspire CX CAS?« on: January 04, 2013, 10:16:09 pm »
Hey welcome to the forums.
I have the CX CAS too but I never figured out how to do that. I noticed that it does integer division when there is no "." well not totally integer division but it leaves it in fraction form if there is a decimal. I also noticed that when finding the vertex on a graph it will only give you a couple numbers after the decimal while on a TI-84+ it will give you so many more places after the decimal point. I know that this doesn't answer your question but they were just things that might help try to figure it out. 63

Miscellaneous / Re: Christmas - what did you get?« on: December 29, 2012, 01:10:00 am »I'm learning to play it nowI was afraid of bricking my phone too. It usually isn't a problem though. Just read the directions word for word and read through a lot of forums about it. You just need to make sure that you know what you're doing before you do anything and if things do go bad and you do brick you can usually ask for help to get it unbricked except lots of android forums hate noobs for some reason. I have an account on XDA Developers but I never use it, probably for that reason because I'm somewhat of a noob and I'll just get hated on. ![]() 69
Miscellaneous / Re: Christmas - what did you get?« on: December 28, 2012, 07:14:45 pm »I got a portable keyboard(yamaha SPG-235) and a kindle paperwhite. Cool. You might want to put a non stock rom on your new phone. Most custom roms aren't as stable but they are usually a lot quicker. I've had custom roms on my phone for a while and I like it better than my parents' who kept the stock. 70
General Discussion / Re: Learning Piano« on: December 27, 2012, 04:17:57 am »
I'm taking a Piano/Keyboard class at school and all we do is sit and play through a book that they provided for us. I seem to be learning alright. You should probably head to a music shop nearby and pick up a beginners book.
The book that we use is Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course. We also use a theory book called Alfred's Basic Adult Theory Piano Book. I think I've been learning alright and the teacher doesn't really teach much so I've just been learning from the book. I have a guitar and I kinda want to learn to play but it's So Hard! I used to play alto sax in band so I can read music pretty well but guitar is just tough to learn. I also haven't really actually tried though. Anyway good luck on learning to play. 71

Whats up with the keyboard? I never understood why it was laid out like that.
And why are there blanks? Is that just in case you want to switch layouts and the other layouts take up the blanks? 74

Wow this is crazy. I just looked into one of them.
I might not have been alive long in the 90s but I played a lot of those games since they were handed down to me from one of my dad's friends. EDIT: I used to have an SNES, NES, Sega Genesis, and a PS1. Everything was handed down to me except for the PS1. Then one day I found out that All of my old games and consoles were donated to The Goodwill. ![]() |
