Wow these poems are great!

Just a few questions:

Any ideas for the GUI design?  Will it end up being just like a Linux OS and then you will be able to launch a math application or is going to be mainly a math tool and then you can run other programs on it kind of like the Nspire?

Is a mouse going to be included?

Are you writing a fresh Linux Distro or is it just going to be the included distribution modified for the calculators purposes?

Is this supposed to be a gaming machine too?

But before evrything, it would be awesome to design a web site for sharing our work, roadmaps, ..., and find other people.

& Coordinate work.
Have you gotten anyone to build the website?  I think that would be a great idea.

Would there be separate sections for French and English?

Have you thought about porting a CAS instead of making one from scratch or would this be harder to do?

If you really want to program your Nspire CX I would recommend downgrading to OS 3.1 if you are not already on it.  Downgrading will allow you to use Ndless and allow C and assembly programs to run on your calculator.  The calculator's programming is kind of limited without Ndless.

Welcome to Omnimaga.

Yes, so that is what I said. He doesn't really care about calculating capacities (CAS, etc) but wants to developp on hos calcs, which is annoying on the CX CAS since TI always blocks Ndless.
Maybe it's just me but doesn't TI blocking Ndless create a game between coders and TI?  I'm sure some people enjoy trying to figure out how to get past the restrictions TI puts on its calculators.  :P

It sucks?  Why do you think that it sucks?  How does it compare to the TI-89 Titanium?

EDIT:

The Nspire CX CAS sucks, but I had to get it for the collection. No need to open it.

Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Omnimaga on a mobile device

Ahh.  There are so many things that  I want to do but there just isn't enough time to learn and do everything  :banghead:.  I'd really like to develop a mobile app for Omnimaga on Android but I don't have time to do it right now.  School kind of takes up most of my days and nights.  Maybe over the summer or over a break I can look into Android development.

Wouldn't that be awesome?  To have a mobile app with a built in IRC client just for Omnimaga? :)

Maybe we should develop mobile apps for Android and IOS.  I know that it would be cheaper to develop for Android than IOS though.  Android has a one time developer fee while Apple charges you yearly.  To solve that problem we might be able to put the app on Cydia, an App Store for Jailbroken devices although I don't know what their fees are.

This sounds like a great project!

I know that others have tried to build a calculator but you seem to actually have the skills to do so.

Q: It's wonderfull, but i don't know anything of design, or C++ coding, What can i do ?

A: There is easy start of C++ on the web, and there is other stuff to do, so write your skill, ... in worst case you can order chinese food. ( we have a pizza french man )

I think I'm apart of this category. :P I'm learning Java in school and C on my own.  If you ever want to get a JVM onto that calculator I might be able to help.  I'm trying to learn about the JVM right now.
C++ shouldn't be too hard to learn after I get C since its based off of C.

The men will be my servants, and the women will be my beaches

What is the male to female ratio?  Is that a statistic listed somewhere here?

I think that they would think that we ruled the planet!  ;D

There are several not pictured because others are borrowing them.
They all work -- this isn't including broken/bricked ones.

Do I see an 84+ Pocket SE ? D:
Wow I really want to get one of those!  How did you get it?  I thought that you could only get them from Asian countries.  ???

Would it be possible to get it to work with the Navigator wireless attachment?  I know they're expensive but that would be pretty cool.  :)
