TI-Boy SE - Game Boy Emulator For TI-83+SE/84 / Re: Good Ti-Boy games?

link's awakening. I've beaten it with Ti-Boy 3 times
That doesn't fit on a non-SE calculator.

Could you please be more specific? It won't help at all if we don't know which games aren't working.

As for the save problem, you are definitely saving in-game before exiting, right? Pressing ON is like switching the Game Boy power switch off, you lose anything you haven't saved.

Considering how cheap they are, I doubt they'd put that much RAM in this thing (128KB -> 48KB anyone?), even if it is identical to the Nspire hardware in every other way (which we also can't assume).

Well, we'll see. Recoding the GUI on top of the nucleus RTOS wouldn't be that much work, though, compared to the work of recoding an OS from scratch.
They're apparently recoding the GUI either way. The question is whether they're really recreating the meat of the OS "from scratch", even if it's on top of Nucleus or whatever.

Other Calculators / Re: More Precision on the 84+ (10^127 - 10^-127)

I just tried it on my 84+SE, it is great :D
Is there a way to make it work on the 83+ too ?
He mentioned the patch works on OS 1.19, so I assume that means TI-83+ is supported.

oh, and will it have extra ram? (probably not, lol)
It's gotta have more RAM if it's going to be handling all those pixels.

No, I mean, a capital N in the normal small font is like:

XX
X X
X X
X X
X X

That's definitely not the same font. Just look at the N.

The behavior of that wall on the left makes me think that you're detecting collision with the block sides parallel to the screen instead of perpendicular (which should be closer).

Well, Mark Hamill has been doing voice acting lately... D:

No, the problem is that he was running games that don't support saving (i.e. Super Mario Land)

Should we rename it as the Wacky Fun Random Nikky Generator?

It should be creating an appvar. Could you email me one of the non-working TI-Boy applications so I can see whether it's a problem with the app or your calculator? My email address is the same as my username, at gmail.

SMC shouldn't need writeback unless it needs those buffers to be maintained, though, right?
True, but there's no way to communicate that back to the shell.
