TI Z80 / Re: Axe GUI Library« on: April 08, 2011, 12:57:35 pm »Why not just use the DCS GUI API via an Axiom instead of reinventing the wheel? Wouldn't that be DCS only? I mean, not that it is a problem to me, but unfortunately not everybody uses Doors CS. In addition, my Assembly knowledge on Axioms isn't that good and this will make it easier for everyone who wants to change the code. So, Axe coders can change the library code to their needs, and if it were made with Axioms, it wouldn't be that easy to change it (we'd have to know Assembly). 2523

Even if most of you have seen this sequence before, here it is, good luck deciphring it and getting the next element (it's infinite)

BatLib / BatLib/ReCode Examples« on: April 08, 2011, 11:47:31 am »
Most of what I know about programming, I learnt it by looking at sample codes and examples, so I thought that I could make some BatLib samples and explain them.
Here's my first code sample, draw a rectangle around the screen and wait for pressing [CLEAR] to close. Code: [Select] dim(1,40 ; Disables Indicator (dim(1)) and Turns Basic ReCode on ((dim(40)). In BatLib, we can have multiple commands in a single dim( First of all, I need to clear that you should read the readme and recode readme first. Then, this code is very simple and here's how it looks when ran: ![]() Hope you enjoyed this example, more to come. Attached is the 8xp file. EDIT: fixed up spacing and added ≠ with Scout's approval 2529

I agree with you Hot Dog, however, I disagree that there should even be discussions on defending Omnimaga or Cemetech.

TI Z80 / Re: [Project]Assemblex« on: April 08, 2011, 10:56:08 am »
Assemblex can now run opened files in WabbitEmu (if it is in the same folder as Assemblex).
All that's left till final release is the Export to 8XP function (making 8xp files) http://davidgom.co.cc/Assemblex0014.zip 2532

Now I have a new question, can I pack wabbitemu with Assemblex?
I'll credit you, no problem there, but can I do it? 2533

"Currently you're using M>X and N<X to kind of "trap" the cursor and detect it."
Exactly. "However, you can take advantage of the fact that Axe doesn't use decimal math to get the position of the cursor with two lines and half as many comparisons per button." No idea of what you mean. Also, since this library is 200% open source, Ashbad is joining the team and will make a few changes to it, I hope he contributes ![]() 2535
