Miscellaneous / Re: AP Tests
« on: May 01, 2013, 10:38:09 am »
It seems like a lot of freshman are taking AP Calc and stuff...
At my school, the earliest time I have ever heard someone take AP Calc AB is in 11th grade.
But then again, I don't know too many people, so I might be mistaken :P

Taking AP Computer Science.
I have no idea when the test is or what is on it.
My teacher is bad :P

In 10th grade, I'll be taking AP Chemistry and maybe AP Statistics.

Making a (playable) solo arrangement of It's the End of Agony.
Not finished yet, but here's what I have so far

(I'm not sure that second chord is correct)
https://soundcloud.com/epic7/its-the-end-of-agony-preview

This piece was composed in G sharp minor, so that means 5 sharps, and some double sharps. (Blame DJ Omnimaga for that one :P)
If you don't like that, I'll probably also have sheet music transposed to G minor or something.

Btw, anybody know of some better piano soundfonts?

I've never had problems really with Omnom. (Other than when Sorunome accidentally screws something up)

Also with mobile browsers, of course :P

The ones I've written are all playable so far
But I'll probably do some ridiculous impossible-even-for-a-player-piano versions of these pieces :P

Music Showcase / DJ Omnimaga: Piano arrangements by epic7

So, I started making several piano arrangements of DJ Omnimaga's music.
So far I've made two (and a half) arrangements using musescore, which can be found at the bottom of the post
Includes sheet music, midi, and musescore files

Song List:
1. Grooving to the Melody
This one is quite simple, and the only thing could be tricky is the dotted eighth rhythm in the left hand.
There's a lot of freedom with this one; you can repeat the sections as much as you want, skip around, and add variation as you go, like the original song.

2. The Warrior Says Goodbye
Not finished yet, but you can find what I have so far in the MuseScore Files folder

3. Void
For 2 pianos.
This one is pretty much the same 2 bars repeated, but it slowly increases in awesomeness to the end.

And there will be more than just this :D

Here's how Void sounds:

Hey I'm no god. I'm just good.

By the way epic7 isn't that you who write sheet music? You should give me some.
Well, I'm currently arranging some of DJ Omni's music for piano :P

Our recordings have a lot of mistakes too :P

You say you don't have his level of mastery, dapianokid?
I thought you could play that Turkish March :p

That's pretty awesome O.O
Next time you should sit on the piano at the end of the Pirates of the Caribbean :P

I've been playing for almost 8 years myself, although admittedly I didn't have too much interest in playing during the earlier years :P
