Gaming Discussion / l33t item in diablo 3
« on: June 01, 2012, 10:12:12 am »
I was going through the auction house in diablo 3 and the best dps bow there had 1337 damage per second  *.*

l33t bow! Sadly I'm too poor to buy such a gear, item being 25 million gold, when I only have 420k T_T

Collision detection with matrix is the easiest and fastest way to do so.

really?
But would a $100 keyboard do it correct?

I think it has to do with USB input or P2 input and ghosting/anti-ghosting, so yeah usually gaming keyboards can do it correct. I'm going to test it with mechanical (for gaming) keyboard when i get home later (it's around $130)

so it's basically chase game? hmmm will it have a lot of obstacles or will it be one big open room?

Anyways good luck! Seems like it'll require good pathing algorithm

Do you know a decent TI-89 Basic editor?

No sadly I don't :( I never really got into 68k programming...

Yeah that's the archon toilet jsj was talking about. It doesn't work as well anymore but it still does heavy damage.

I wonder if there's a siege tank toilet in 2v2, where someone casts a vortex then you put a few tanks in siege mode nearby? Or maybe with thors?

actually there's something called baneling toilet. It can happen in 1v1 too, when protoss initiates vortex and archon toilet, you put in about 15~20 banelings in there, and when the vortex finishes, all the protoss ground units are obliterated :)

Edit:

okay, as long as you're aware of them :) I think most of the games were slow because many people just didn't care much about developing good BASIC programs for ti-89 because they were able to code in C.
